The SDBS data come from statistical contacts that are mostly national statistics offices and central banks of the DMCs. SDBS also store data from other international organizations' databases and websites.
SDBS has annual data, from 1975 onward, on:
- national accounts, prices, government finance, trade, balance of payments, money and banking, external debt,
- population,
- labor force, and
- social indicators
Other member countries' data on selected economic indicators as well as quarterly and monthly data of some indicators are also available. SDBS is updated continuously and new series are added based on emerging demands.

Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) are nationally-representative household surveys that provide data for a wide range of monitoring and impact evaluation indicators in the areas of population, health, and nutrition.
STATcompiler: Create maps for hundreds of indicators from DHS surveys - at national or sub-national levels for many countries. Customize maps and export for presentations or reports.
|
HIV Spatial Data Repository: GIS users can integrate their own GIS data with the DHS HIV/AIDS indicators data. Data are provided at the sub-national level in shapefiles.

CAIT has been used to analyze a wide range of climate-related data questions and help support policy decision making and discussions under the Climate Convention and in other forums. International and the US datasets are available.

- Data Units:
- Emissions: million metric tons (tonnes) CO2equivalent (MtCO2e)
- Per Capita Emissions: metric tons of CO2equivalent (mtCO2e) per person
- Emissions Intensity: metric tons of CO2 equivalent per million U.S. dollars (mtCO2e/million $US)
- Data Coverage:
- States: 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia, U.S. Total
- Gases: CO2, CH4, N2O, F-gases (HFCs, PFCs, SF6)
- Years: 1990-2009
- Citation: World Resources Institute, Climate Analysis Indicators Tool (WRI, CAIT). 2012. CAIT-US version 5.0. Washington, DC: World Resources Institute. Available online at: http://cait.wri.org
