The development process is a complex one. The complexity arises from the simple fact that the development problems and challenges have roots in multi-sectorial (such as agriculture, health, economy, infrastructure, water and sanitation, etc) and multi-discipline (such as economics, psychology, management, natural sciences, etc) dimensions. Therefore, it is critical to have a generalized understanding and appreciation of multi-dimensional  nature of development issues. Working systematically from identifying such multi-dimensional root causes, linked with local context and "best" practices, can we hope to decipher the immense challenges in development.

With this view, I have created Multi-sectorial Development Solutions (MSDS) wiki. The goal of this wiki is to document and learn about challenges and solutions for development by examining each development sector in fine detail. The database gathers best practices, analysis, and tools and resources in a rapidly editable format of a wiki. To contextualize solutions and to learn and stay up to date with issues in Nepal, I have also created a Nepal-focused sections within each development sector pages, in addition to the 'global view' pages.

How to use MSDS?

Please use the Navigation Bar on the right side. Each sector is categorized into a folder, which contains useful resources, analysis, examples of challenges, and solutions. Of course, the wiki itself is a life-long work in progress, and a learning and archiving medium.
